Moses Tours is a one-man show, and I mean that in the best way. When you book a tour with me, you’re getting a warm, boutique experience with someone who genuinely loves sharing the hidden gems of the Dutch countryside.
I’ve lived in Amsterdam for over 21 years, and since 2010, I’ve been guiding private tours through the stunning villages, lakes, windmills, and farmlands that surround the city. These aren’t typical city tours, they’re peaceful, scenic, and deeply rooted in local culture and history.
Every tour is guided by me personally and tailored to the people I travel with, whether it’s families with kids, couples, seniors, or small groups of friends. I adjust the pace, the stops, and even the stories, to make sure it fits your vibe and interests perfectly.
Hi, I’m Moshik, the founder, guide, and heart behind Moses Tours, and a passionate local guide living in Amsterdam for over 20 years. I started this company back in 2010, driven by my love for travel and connecting with people from around the world.
With a background in tourism studies and a deep appreciation for Dutch culture and history, I’ve combined my two biggest passions: exploring new places and enjoying great company — into a profession I truly love.
There’s nothing more fulfilling to me than sharing the magic of the Netherlands with others. Whether you’re a family with kids, a couple, or a group of friends, I tailor each tour to suit your pace, interests, and energy — making sure it’s always engaging, comfortable, and unforgettable.
For me, every day as a guide is a new opportunity to meet amazing people and show them what makes this country so special.

There was clear communication prior to the trip and he was very accommodating to us throughout the day. He picked us up at the ship, took us to see the Keukenhof gardens and the windmills and brought us to a quaint village for lunch in between. It was a perfect 8 hour tour! Moses was friendly and easy going and his commentary was both informative and entertaining. I highly recommend him for your personalized tours around Amsterdam.Posted on Google Nathan GilmerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Moses is the absolute BEST tour guide we could have asked for on our excursion around Amsterdam. We started off our day by heading to the Keukenhof and along the way he gave us facts about the area, the sights we saw along the way, and also kept things light and conversational by talking about our trip and getting to know each other. Once at the Keukenhof, Moses went out of his way to tailor the visit to what we wanted to see and do, not forcing a march to just certain areas that we saw other guided groups having to do. He gave us time to take all the pics we could have wanted, but was also there to sprinkle in some knowledge and facts while still allowing time to peacefully take everything in, including the smell of all the flowers. From the Keukenhof, we stopped in Volendam (small fishing village) for the shops and to grab lunch. Moses recommended a specific restaurant with insanely good kibbeling and frietjes for our lunch and also a poffertjes shop with mini pancakes and the best way to enjoy them (butter and sugar). After that, we were off to Zaanse Schans to check out how they make clogs and also the windmills. Again, Moses allowed us to set the pace and how fast/slow we wanted to take in the views and attractions while still being there for the knowledge and experience of what to avoid and which buildings/shops to step into, which is always great advice to know as a tourist. For an excursion, I could not recommend a better tour guide than Moses and will look him up the next trip to A-dam to make sure we can get the same experience over and over again for all our excursions! Thanks Moses for your time today, the level of knowledge you provided us, and the overall top class person you are. The day was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.! 🌷🇳🇱Posted on Google א שTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We spent a day with the excellent guide Mushik. He is a great guide. Delft is also where the Dutch royal family is traditionally laid to rest, in the Great Church beside the market square. If your tour falls on a Thursday, you’ll enjoy a vibrant local market with over 150 colorful stalls offering delicious treats.
We’ll also visit a charming Delft Blue pottery shop, where you’ll learn about the famous blue-and-white ceramics and may even see the artisans at work.
